We Are Proactive With Food Safety Standards

Two important parts of any food safety program include knowing where your product has been on its circuitous trip from field to retailers’ docks, and being able to find it should it ever be recalled.  Accurate, automated record keeping can potentially speed the recall process.

DuBose Farms, LLC is committed to producing and supplying only safe and quality peaches. From growing to distribution, our products are handled to our exacting standards. We control every aspect of our operation, through Standard Operating Procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices, and PreRequisite Programs, to assure only the freshest, safest, and best quality produce are used in our process, while controlling all the parameters to achieve the highest customer satisfaction. We continuously work to develop and improve our food safety program to ensure the highest standards in food safety and traceability, and compliance with the Produce Traceability Initiative (PTI) and the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFS). We are committed to providing all the resources needed to implement and improve our food safety program in a timely manner to ensure customer requirements and expectations are fulfilled, as well as quality training for our employees to properly implement both a comprehensive and high quality food safety program. We hold ourselves accountable to fully implement our Food Safety Management System (FSMS) and continuously seek ways to improve the food safety system in our operation. DuBose Farms, LLC is committed to food safety, following food safety laws, adhering to industry food safety best practices, and a process of continual improvement, Everyone in the company understands our food safety policy and is made aware of their role in ensuring that it is met through training and communication.

We participate in the Primuslabs.com “Safe Food Production Program.” This program is an audit-based program that helps verify voluntary adherence to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s “Guide to Minimize Microbial Food Safety Hazards for Fresh Fruits and Vegetables.” This audit program provides third party verification for the client’s safe food production program.

 Our audit scores have been 97 percent and higher. We received excellent scores for 2020.
